This policy explains what data MORTUUS (the "Game") collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
The Game is published by Hamuno ("we", "us"). Contact: hamunoobusiness@gmail.com.
When you play the Game (full game or demo), it sends us the following:
The Game checks for software that modifies it (such as mod loaders, cracked Steam emulators or altered game libraries). If it finds something, it may send a report to us containing your Steam ID, the names of the files found and basic system information, and then close the Game. These checks look only at the Game's own folder and the Game's own process, not your personal files.
The Game's code and data are encrypted and obfuscated to protect it from piracy and cheating. This is standard protection and does not affect your files or your computer.
Tampering with the Game, cheating or abusing other players can lead to a ban, as set out in our End User License Agreement: https://hamunoo.github.io/mortuus-eula/
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except service providers who host our systems for us.
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in running, securing and improving the Game, and on performance of the contract when you play it. You can object at any time (section 6).
We keep gameplay and performance data for up to 24 months, and anti-cheat reports for up to 24 months or as long as needed to enforce a ban. Then it is deleted or anonymized.
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about your Steam ID, correct it, delete it, or stop collecting it. Email hamunoobusiness@gmail.com from the address you use for your Steam account, and give your Steam ID. We will answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Data is sent over encrypted connections to servers we control. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to the people who need it.
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for big changes, announce it on the Steam page.
